Conan Taylor is a partner of Taylor Janis LLP. He practices exclusively in the areas of workplace law, including labour, employment, and commercial litigation matters. In his over 15 years of practice, Mr. Taylor has represented both individuals and corporations respecting their workplace law matters. At present, he represents several small to medium-sized businesses, including specialty pharmacy, commercial development, and energy companies.

Eric C. Lam is a lawyer in the firm’s Edmonton office. He provides clear legal advice and professional representation to clients involved in wrongful dismissals, review of severance packages, workplace bullying, discrimination, and sexual harassment, as well as other Employment Law matters.

Jon is a lawyer in the firms Edmonton Office. He passionately provides legal advice and represents clients in all workplace matters including disputes and conflicts during employment, terminations, human rights, employment standards, labor relations, workers compensation, illness and disability, bullying and harassment, restrictive covenants, workplace investigations, professional regulatory matters, and judicial reviews of administrative decisions.

Colin is an Associate practicing in the areas of Labour & Employment, Civil Litigation, Estate Litigation, Corporate & Commercial Litigation, and Personal Injury. He places high emphasis on developing trusted relationships with his clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease sharing the subtleties of their circumstances. Whether a matter is simple or complex, Colin’s focus is to quickly and efficiently resolve issues in a way that promotes his client’s best interests.

Throughout his career, Cole has helped employees and businesses navigate complex employment law issues in Alberta. Priding himself on providing practical, timely legal advice for a host of workplace issues, Cole is a zealous advocate for his clients.

Whitney provides strategic counsel to employer and employee clients exclusively in the areas of employment law, human resources law, and human rights law. Over the course of her career, she has served national corporations, start-ups, senior executives, and individual employees across a broad range of industries.

Wilson McCutchan is an associate in Taylor Janis’ Calgary office. He graduated from law school at Queen’s University in 2009 and was called to the bar in Alberta in 2010. Since then he has practiced as a civil litigator in Calgary. He advises and represents clients on a wide range of employment law matters.

Paul focuses on corporate and commercial law. He obtained his Juris Doctorate law degree at Western University and was called to the Canadian Bar by Justice Patrick Sullivan in Alberta.

Heather is an associate practicing in the area of employment law. She takes a client-centered approach to enable her clients to make informed decisions. She has advised employers and employees on all aspects of the employment relationship, from the initial hiring stages up to termination.

Susan is a Student-at-Law in the firm. She was born and raised in Calgary, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies) from Mount Royal University. Susan graduated from the faculty of law at Thompson Rivers University, where she served as president of the South Asian Legal Students Association and participated in the Thompson Rivers University Community Legal Clinic.

Chandrima Gupta is a Student-at-Law in our Edmonton office. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Accounting, from the University of Alberta in 2019 and her Juris Doctor, also from the University of Alberta, in 2022.

He practices primarily in the areas of workplace law and commercial litigation. Andrew represents and advises employees and employers in a variety of workplace matters including wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, human rights issues, and non-competition agreements.

Heather is a lawyer in the firm’s Edmonton office. Her practice primarily focuses on workplace matters, including wrongful dismissals, severance review, workplace harassment, human rights issues and discrimination, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements.

Chandrima Gupta is a Student-at-Law in our Edmonton office. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Accounting, from the University of Alberta in 2019 and her Juris Doctor, also from the University of Alberta, in 2022.

Susan is a Student-at-Law in the firm. She was born and raised in Calgary, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies) from Mount Royal University. Sarah Levine is a lawyer in the firm’s Edmonton office but acts for clients throughout Alberta and British Columbia. She practices primarily in the area of workplace law, including wrongful dismissal, workplace harassment, severance review, human rights and discrimination issues, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and various other employment matters.

Linda provides legal advice and representation to both employees and employers in a variety of workplace matters, including wrongful dismissal, severance review, workplace discrimination, and representation of unionized employees. Prior to joining Taylor Janis LLP, Linda worked at a non-profit legal clinic, representing marginalized clients in civil litigation matters. Linda understands the stress and complexity that comes with accessing your legal rights and entitlements and looks forward to using her advocacy skills and experience to achieve the best results for you.

Dustin was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. During his high school years, football was his passion. The highlight of his high school years was winning a National Championship as a member of Team Alberta and being named Defensive MVP of the tournament. Dustin then played four years of football for the Okanagan Sun in British Columbia earning two Conference All-star awards.

Chelsea focuses on representing clients and providing legal advice related to workplace and employment issues. Some of the areas of law that Chelsea focuses on include, but are not limited to, wrongful dismissal, severance package review, discrimination, disputes during employment, and workers compensation.
