About Jonathan Dowhaluk
Jon is a lawyer in the firms Edmonton Office. He passionately provides legal advice and represents clients in all workplace matters including disputes and conflicts during employment, terminations, human rights, employment standards, labor relations, workers compensation, illness and disability, bullying and harassment, restrictive covenants, workplace investigations, professional regulatory matters, and judicial reviews of administrative decisions.
Jon has a wealth of experience advocating for his clients in judicial, quasi-judicial as well as in dispute resolution venues. Prior to joining Taylor Janis, Jon practiced in the area of family law and employment law with a large firm in Edmonton. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jon was heavily engaged as a union activist for many years with AUPE, where he passionately advocated for his fellow workers by way of filing grievances, Occupational Health and Safety complaints, and even took part in a wild-cat strike.
