About Eric Chow
Eric Chow grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and attended the University of British Columbia where he received his Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Finance. He later graduated law school from the University of Saskatchewan in 2008 and moved to Squamish, British Columbia for his articles. He articled at a full service law firm gaining experience in litigation and solicitor work with a broad practice that included Business Law, Real Estate, Family Law and Civil and Commercial Litigation Litigation. Eric was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2010.
Before he joined Taylor Janis LLP, Eric worked at a boutique Employment Law Firm in West Vancouver, then a full service law firm in downtown Vancouver and then a full service law firm in Burnaby. Most of Eric’s legal experiences focus on civil litigation and administrative hearings. Eric Chow has represented clients at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and various administrative tribunals ranging from the Human Rights Tribunal to the Employment Standards Tribunal to the Immigration and Refugee Board.
Eric enjoys interesting food, a good movie and he is an avid sports fan. In his spare time he enjoys toddler adventures with his 2 year old son.
