Lee Satveit is a lawyer in the firm’s Edmonton office. He practices primarily in the area of workplace law, on behalf of both employees and employers, and on matters such as wrongful dismissal, severance review, non-competition, and non-solicitation agreements, drafting and advising on employment agreements, human rights complaints, and discrimination in the workplace.
Prior to joining Taylor Janis LLP, Lee practiced law at the Edmonton office of a large national firm and at a smaller firm in British Columbia, appearing before provincial and superior courts in both jurisdictions. He also acted as in-house counsel for a technology company in Toronto, worked for a financial regulator in B.C., and has worked for a professional regulatory association in Alberta. Lee obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta and he was called to the bar in Alberta in 2012.
