About Stanley Wu

Stanley Wu is an articled student expected to become licensed as a lawyer in 2027. He graduated from law school at the University of British Columbia and completed two successful Temporary Articling terms with our firm during 2024 and 2025.

Stanley has assisted clients with workplace law and other matters before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia. Stanley has also assisted clients in matters before administrative tribunals and made significant contributions to early and favourable settlements for clients on workplace law and other matters.

Stanley provides services in both Mandarin (中文) and English and holds Master’s and Bachelor’s finance degrees obtained in the United Kingdom.

While completing his studies at the UBC Law School, Stanley was very actively engaged in community service work. He is a former Clinic Head at the Law Students Legal Advice Program. Through this program, he managed a large caseload for clients as well as a team of law students as the leader of a legal clinic. Stanley is also an active member of the local legal community and was a co-organizer of the 42nd Chinese Legal Community Banquet held in 2024.

Before attending law school, Stanley gained considerable client service experience as a business development manager for a major financial conglomerate for several years, where he tailored business solutions to clients who often faced complex and stressful demands and high-stakes interests. Stanley also possesses experience working for start-ups as well as small and medium-sized businesses, including a start-up of his own. He has personal experience handling workplace-law-related matters and is proud to be a strong legal voice for his future clients.

Passion and Achievements

Stanley has a record of success with negotiating and litigating cases. While still in law school, he successfully obtained a significant judgment at an administrative tribunal.

Stanley appreciates that effective advocacy requires tenacity, resourcefulness, as well as a client-first approach. Stanley values delivering effective and timely resolutions as a top priority.
