Susan completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology at the University of Calgary, and her law degree at the University of Alberta. Prior to relocating to Alberta, she practiced in British Columbia, focusing on a broad range of civil litigation and human rights matters. She appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. This diverse background has equipped her with the skills to navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and confidence.
On a personal note, Susan is an avid foodie and enjoys trying unique and local restaurants! She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, and going to farmers markets.
