Lauren Coles is a lawyer in the firm’s Calgary office. She provides legal advice and representation to employees in a variety of matters including wrongful dismissal, severance negotiations, human rights complaints, and other workplace issues. Lauren also provides assistance to employers and has experience with general advisory work, as well as drafting workplace policies, employment agreements, and contractor agreements.
Prior to joining Taylor Janis LLP, Lauren articled and practiced at a large national law firm here in Calgary. While obtaining her law degree from Thompson Rivers University, Lauren assisted with a prominent, Constitutional, and human rights case that rose to the Supreme Court of Canada. Lauren received a number of scholarships and awards for this advocacy work and continues her support of this cause today.
